Bee Hives and Urban Gardening Workshop

This spring we are offering a series of 5 free urban gardening workshops to teach community members the skills needed to grow their own vegetables and keep bees in the city. With these skills we hope that participants will be able to start their own urban growing/beekeeping projects that will give them more reliable access to fresh and local produce/honey, relieve some of the financial burden of purchasing nutritious/fresh foods, help them enjoy healthy outdoor activities, and share their skills and products with other community members. Topics will include seed starting, prepping the space, planting in the ground, garden care, and more!
